High School and College students seeking to fulfill community service requirements are invited to email Maureen at (mglancy@coastside.net). Students can volunteer for 4 to 5 hours and have the rest of the day to enjoy the Faire. Volunteers wearing renaissance costumes can help with hospitality at stages and in the Friends of Faire Garden, handing out programs at the Front Gate, and other such jobs. Volunteers in street clothes will be able to help behind the scenes at Friends of Faire Garden and other locations. If you need a costume, we will try to help fit you when you arrive.

The minimum number of hours volunteers work at Faire is 4 hours. If you require more hours, arrangements can be made for you to return.

To volunteer and earn your day at Faire, speak with your supervising teacher to be sure this will satisfy school/course requirements then contact Maureen for details. You must plan on being at the ticket booth at 9:00 a.m. to be admitted and to receive your assignment. Bring with you a note from your teacher authorizing you to volunteer and identifying the school and class/course.
