Teachers’ Workshop Day,
Sunday, September 7

information about standards-based program experiences,
hands-on learning and skill-building, and demonstrating education standards
applications while also being an enjoyable day at the Faire.
To make if possible for educators to
attend, each teacher/administrator will receive free admission for
him- or herself and a friend. The day will combine a seminar and discussion
about standards and curricular program (including handouts), refreshments, a
village culture tour by docents, attendance at the joust (an excellent
educational event!), choice of demonstration workshops, free time to “do”
the Faire, and a session on custom and dress in the period. We will also
discuss ways to support student project assignments that may be
completed when attending the Faire with parents.
On the 7th, we will meet
outdoors on the Faire site located on route 152 near the Casa de Fruta RV
Park (free parking past gate 6). Dress is casual, comfortable shoes are
recommended, and participants should plan to bring or buy their lunch and
beverage. Guests should meet at the ticket booth at 8:45 a.m. so the
group can be escorted to our meeting location before the Faire
opens.
Reservations are required! To
reserve space or inquire further about our offer, please call me at
650-504-1572 (cell) or email at
mglancy@coastside.net I am happy to answer questions and make
