Introduction to Spinning and Weaving
A Workshop for Beginners

Join a master spinner-weaver and learn to spin wool into yarn, try hand
weaving techniques, and weave on a floor or table loom. Learn basic
principles to produce well-formed fabric and how a simple pattern is formed.
Students will be advised on resources to continue their interests on their
own.
Second day is optional. Students will review spinning technique and loom
weaving to advance in confidence and skills.
Group is limited to 8 persons. First day fee is $85.00 (or $65.00 for
season/weekend pass holders) includes 3 ½-hour workshop with individual
instruction, supplies, admission to the Faire for the day, and a $10.00 off
coupon for lunch.
The second day workshop is limited to persons completing the first workshop.
The fee is $70 (or $50 for season/weekend pass holders) includes 3 ½- hour
workshop, supplies, admission to the Faire for the day, and a $10.00 off
coupon for lunch.
Full payment for the first workshop is required by September 12 to guarantee
your space and supplies! Second day reservation can be made on Sept. 20th.
